From Dreams to Culinary Triumphs: Safar's Story
The Beginning
The story of Safar by Karimi is one of passion, dedication, and hard work. Born and raised in India, the Saiyed brothers embarked on a journey to the United States with a dream of starting their own business. Despite facing numerous challenges as immigrants, they remained committed to their dream.
Working regular jobs, the brothers started a family hand-made samosa business and a home catering venture. The taste of their food quickly spread through the community, and they soon found themselves in high demand.




Karimi Restaurant
In 2017, they seized the opportunity to buy and invest in Karimi Restaurant. Their relentless efforts and dedication made it a beloved fixture in the Muslim and desi communities in the Bay Area.
Inspired by their success and supported by the community, the brothers dreamt bigger and opened Safar in Cupertino. This new restaurant offers an elevated and modern twist to desi food, taking customers on a culinary journey like never before.
